This outfit is pretty casual and comfy. I found this sweater at Target for less than 8 bucks, which is a pretty good deal for a knit sweater. Also, I'm very impressed with the quality of these boots, considering they're from Forever 21. I've had them for two years now and they're still going strong.

Soooo my head is cut off in most of the pictures because I am so sick and look like it too! It's no bueno. And, it's freezing outside so maybe this isn't the best winter outfit, but it sure is cute!

The key necklace is actually one of my favorite accessories. The husb and I were just exploring antique shops one day in downtown Salt Lake and found the coolest skeleton keys, so we had to buy a couple. I found an old gold chain and voila, this adorable neckalce was born.

These boots are a complete STEAL. I was just browsing the shoe clearance section of Target and found them for $29.99!! Upon looking closer I discovered that they were an online return, not available in stores, and are originally priced at appx $75! Talk about a killer deal.

Keeping it simple. I love stripes, and can you really beat a dress with pockets?! I was a little bit disappointed  in how warm it was today. I mean, we are nearing the end of December. I'll never complain about the sunshine, but I would like to see some snow too.

I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of leggings that are actually thick enough to wear as pants. I wanted something similar to the J.Crew pixie pants, without the J.Crew price. I finally found these at Forever 21 for about the fourth of the price. These leggings are perfect for everyday wear, but also appropriate for work!

I am not a fan of winter. At all. However, I am a fan of winter fashion! Maybe this dress is a little too spring-y. Maybe I'm hoping it'll somehow summon the forces of nature to make spring come sooner. Whatever the case, I am in love with this pattern, and my cozy wedge booties.

Anthro Fashion Envy

Dear Anthropologie,

I love you. 

But, I also hate you.

Do you realize how difficult it is to find beautiful and fashionable modest attire--especially dresses? And there you are, flaunting the most decadent of apparel, tempting me to spend copious amounts of money on your gorgeous garments. 

I know I know. 

I should have married for money, and this wouldn't be an issue.

Jussssst kidding. 

But seriously.

I am in love with possibly every single item you sell. And believe me, it is a one sided affair that can never be. 

Not for a while at least; as I don't expect to be bathing in money any time soon. 

Just know that my feelings for you are infinitely complex, and I'm always left gazing lustfully at your products.
